Reflection #3
I am still unsure about using a blog. I have never used a blog for a variety of reasons. For starters, I have never been too into posting things or talking about myself over the internet. Unfortunately, I was sucked in to the "Facebook revolution" and MySpace, but I do not keep up on them at all. I will most likely be deleting my accounts from both services here soon. Secondly, I have not been one to keep up on the latest technologies. I am sure this will take me by the end of the semester to get used to the blogging.
I guess the one positive thing about the blog is keeping in contact with Blog Team 1 as well as the instructor. Other useful items can be posted as well. I can see how this sort of technology can be useful.
In regards to the E-portfolio, I have briefly used the program in W201. The E-portfolio is an awesome tool for future teachers as future employers can access the portfolio. With the portfolio, changes can be made easily via computer.

Hey, Brittany - I enjoy reading your reflection because you're so honest when reflecting your experience in using technology.
I think this is a good thing and I need you just to keep open-minded, explore different technologies, and find the ones you think they will be helpful for your future career or personal uses.
You might find some useful technologies, such as e-portfolio, and some not-that-useful technologies, such as Facebook in your case (maybe). In the near future, you may use the group of helpful technologies in your classroom.
By the way, I think you're right! I don't want the blogs to be 'talking to myself' either.
I hope the blogs will be more interactive. So reply to me sometimes. :)
Here is an example of interactive blogs. The host is a science teacher in a high school.

Maybe you guys could find some ideas of using blogs in classroom. If you could find any blogs for math education, that would be great!
